Wétiko: Cowboys and Indigenes combines historical paintings of the American West with photographs of the Arab Spring. The series examines how images shape narratives of power and violence, and how changing an element can change the way a scene is read.
تجمع «ويتيكو: رعاة البقر والسكان الأصليون» بين لوحات تاريخية عن الغرب الأمريكي وصور من الربيع العربي. تتناول السلسلة دور الصور في تشكيل سرديات السلطة والعنف، وكيف يمكن لتغيير عنصر واحد أن يغيّر قراءتنا للمشهد.
